Sammy was my friend for over 50 years, from the sixties with great nights in the Blue House and Ossie Wades to the present day when we would meet for a pint downtown with some of the lads from that era, whenever I came to visit.
Sammy was one of the most knowledgeable but at the same time most humble people I have every known and we will miss him very much.
Condolences to his sister, of whom he spoke a lot, and the rest of his family..
Due to these terrible times I will be unable to hear attend the service but I will be there in spirit.
Sleep will my friend
